A new option has been added to the eCMID Analytics Hub, for vessel operators to review findings for individual vessels within their fleets. This will enable identification of repeated findings across multiple inspections.
As the data available to the hub only extends back to mid-2021, data is currently limited, but over time this feature will be of use in identifying any findings that occur regularly across several years and therefore require more determined action to avoid future recurrence.
Since its launch in March 2022, the analytics hub has already been used to generate over 500 reports, a third of which are specific to vessel operators’ own fleets. Further details can be found in our original announcement, with user feedback leading to further improvements to the eCMID system, such as this, planned for the future.
